1 person killed in Downey shooting

DOWNEY – Downey Police are looking for information surrounding a deadly shooting that occurred earlier this week.
At approximately 7:49 p.m. on Monday, officers responded to Bottle Cap and Spirits, located at 11112 Paramount Blvd, regarding a call of a person who had been shot.
The victim, a 27-year-old male from Huntington Park, was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local hospital where he died that evening.
Downey police detectives are investigating the incident; however, officials say they are looking for a suspect described as a male Hispanic in his 20’s.
