DOWNEY - Tickets are now on sale for the fourth annual Taste of Downey food festival, happening Sept. 19 from 5:30-9 p.m.Tickets are $20 for 10 "tastes" from participating local restaurants. This year's event has been relocated to Downey Avenue, between 2nd and 3rd streets. In addition to multiple food booths, the festival will feature live entertainment, an art show showcasing original work from Downey artists, and a beer and wine garden. Tickets can be purchased at the Downey Theatre box office, at the planning department inside City Hall, at the senior center or online at downeytheatre.com.
