Pieloon restaurant is hosting a fundraiser this Saturday, Aug. 3, to benefit Childrenâ??s Hospital Los Angeles.The restaurant is donating 25 percent of the dayâ??s gross receipts to the hospital. The fundraiser is the work of Eileen Garrido, 13, a heart patient at Childrenâ??s Hospital Los Angeles who now volunteers as a hospital ambassador. â??Please come out and join us for breakfast, lunch or dinner and enjoy a wonderful meal or just pick up one of Pieloonâ??s delicious pies and help support a great cause,â?? Eileen said. Donations are also accepted through the mail. Checks should be made payable to Childrenâ??s Hospital Los Angeles and mailed to Pieloon Restaurant, C/O Eileen Garrido, 10822 Lakewood Blvd., Downey CA 90241.
