DOWNEY - Temple Ner Tamid is hosting a barbecue Friday, Aug. 2, at 6 p.m., prior to traditional Shabbat services that start at 7:30.The barbecue menu consists of chicken, hot dogs, hamburgers and salmon burgers. Guests can mix and match any two items for $15; salads, baked beans, corn on the cob, watermelon and soft drinks are included. The public is invited.
