Dear Editor: In case Margaret Hittinger hadn’t noticed, Ferguson, Mo. – like most if not all of the “poverty plantations” that concern her – is run by Democrats. (“Poverty,” Letters to the Editor, 8/28/14)

They vote Democrat, their Congressman is a Democrat, and their Governor is a Democrat.

Leave Paul Ryan out of it, he didn’t create Ferguson.
