DOWNEY – A team of Warren High School students won a Stock Market Analyst Competition last Saturday at UCLA. Samantha Cano, a junior, was the team’s captain. The competition is part of a free program that prepares high school students for a successful college experience and also facilities in the area of business.

The program is offered over eight Saturday sessions and includes human resources and organizational behavior case study overviews led by UCLA Anderson faculty; team-based exploration of the stock market; a real estate competition focusing on Los Angeles communities; guest speakers from top industry leaders; SAT preparatory workshops for sophomores and juniors; professional development seminars that include resume writing, interviewing techniques and networking workshops; and personal mentors.
