DOWNEY – The Downey chapter of the Red Hat Society is accepting new members into its club. The women’s club is popular for its “red hat casual or dressy attire” for special events, which include teas, Victorian lunches, bingo, conventions and pajama breakfast parties.

The group also tries new eateries every month.
