DOWNEY – Noted quilt appraiser Julie Silber will present her trunk show of vintage quilts at the Aug. 20 meeting of the Los Angeles County Quilt Guild at the Downey Woman’s Club. Silbert was curator of the world-renowned Espirt quilt collection and is co-author of several books.

The program begins at 10 a.m. Cost for non-members is $5.
