DOWNEY – Jimmy Spyros Lagousis, owner of Jim’s Burgers on Firestone Boulevard in west Downey, died March 27, the family announced. He passed away at his Downey home, surrounded by family.

Lagousis was born May 20, 1935. He resided in Downey since 1962.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Panayiota; three children, Christine Sparangis, Spyros Lagousis and Sam Lagousis; and four grandchildren, Helene, Demetri, Sammy and Jimmy.
