Free space center event June 7
DOWNEY – The Columbia Memorial Space Center will host a free event titled “New Worlds – New Discoveries” next Saturday, June 7, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. With assistance from the Challenger Center for Space Science Education and the NASA Planetary Science Division, the event will offer a variety of classes, workshops and demonstrations.
The Challenger Learning Center, offering a simulated mission to Mars, will also be open.
The event is free but passes must be obtained for classes and workshops. Passes can be obtained from the space center cashier on a first come, first serve basis.
