DOWNEY – A “financial fortitude” workshop offering tips on financial planning, bankruptcy filing, living trusts, life insurance and more will be held Saturday, April 26, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Apollo Park. There will also be free food, raffles, promotional giveaways and gifts.

Vernon Yancey, a bankruptcy attorney heard on radio station KJLH, is a guest speaker.

The forum is presented by Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Cerritos Area Alumnae Chapter, in collaboration with Ameriprise Financial, Jamison, Grant and Associates.
