Dear Editor: I have seen many stores closing in Downey but it really made me sad to see Farr’s Stationary shutting its doors forever.

It was such a nice store with so much variety. It was special and different. I loved to go there when I had to make copies and browse around looking at the beautiful toys, gifts, cards, ornaments, figurines, etc.

Thanks, Farr’s, for the many years that you helped us with our office needs and our purchases of great gifts. You were good!
