Crime Report

Friday, March 28 At 10:15 p.m., officers responded to Dominoes Pizza (7870 Imperial Hwy) regarding a robbery investigation. Officers spoke to employees who reported a male had gone into the store and pointed a handgun at the cashier. The suspect demanded money from the cash register. The victim handed the suspect the money from the register and the suspect ran out of the store with the loss. Forensics Specialists responded and conducted an examination. Detectives are investigating.

 

Saturday, March 29

At 2:30 a.m., officers responded to the 8700 block of Stamps Road regarding an assault with a deadly weapon investigation. Officers spoke with a victim who reported she had been cut during an argument inside of her residence. There was a second victim who also received a minor laceration. The suspect was known to the victims. Detectives responded and conducted follow-up investigation.

 

Monday, March 31

At 6:30 a.m., officers responded to the 9000 block of Imperial Hwy, regarding a commercial burglary. Responding officers discovered an unknown suspect(s) had forced their way into the business and ransacked the office. The suspect(s) were able to take items belonging to the business. Forensic Specialist responded and conducted follow-up investigation. Detectives are investigating.

 

Tuesday, April 1

At 11:55 a.m., officers responded to the 11900 block of Paramount Blvd, regarding a grand theft person investigation. Officers spoke with the victim who reported an unknown male walked up behind her and pulled off a necklace from around her neck. The suspect ran away with the necklace and into a waiting vehicle. The victim was not injured. Detectives are investigating.
