DOWNEY – The second annual National Day of Remembrance for Aborted Babies will be held Saturday, Sept. 13, from 9-10 a.m. outside Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. The program begins with an opening prayer followed by a history of the Monument for Aborted Children, which is located at the front of the church.

There will then be another prayer, the presentation of a wreath, song, and a closing prayer.

The Living Help Center will host a reception after the ceremony.
