DOWNEY – A utilities expert from the AARP will be sharing ways to lower utility bills at the Downey farmers market Aug. 9 and Aug. 23. Dolores Sanchez will be available both days from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. to answer questions about how utility rates are determined and steps to keep utility bills down.
