DOWNEY – Rabbi Osnat Margalith will speak about her recent experience praying with the “Women of the Wall” in Jerusalem when she visits Temple Ner Tamid on March 28, Sisterhood President Cheryl Saltzman announced. Rabbi Margalith was born in Israel and is currently serving the congregation of Temple Beth Shalom in Whittier.

The Women of the Wall is a group advocating for women to have the same prayer rights as men contesting Orthodox prayer rules which has attracted support from diverse sections of society in a struggle roughly 25 years old.

Services begin at 7:30 p.m. The public is invited to attend.
