DOWNEY - Residents are urged to pick up a free 55-galon barrel for emergency water storage during a giveaway event this Saturday at Stonewood Center.The distribution begins at 8 a.m. and will continue until noon, or until all barrels are gone. Residents must be in a vehicle to take a barrel. There is a limit of one barrel at a time. Pumps, siphon hoses and cap handles will be available for purchase.
