DOWNEY - Residents with expired or unwanted prescription drugs can safely dispose of them at the Downey Police Department this Saturday.Police officials and volunteers will be collecting the drugs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Over-the-counter medications can be dropped off but sharps and needles will not be accepted.
