Dear Editor:So let me get this straight. Ms. Rivero paid about $100 a month for traditional electricity and just spent another $1,700-plus to pay about $100 a month for solar electricity? ("No Trouble with Solar," Letters to the Editor, 5/30/13) This sounds like a bargain? Well, I have often encouraged people to put their money where their mouth is -- especially environmentalists. If only more enviros would "invest" in this great technology, then perhaps the rest of us determined to stick with the Edison Company would see lower rates. Keep it up! Alaina Niemann Downey
