DOWNEY - The California Women's Chorus will hold its 44th annual convention at the Embassy Suites in Downey later this month.More than 200 choruses from around the state will converge in Downey for the three-day convention that begins April 26. The convention concludes April 28 with a matinee scholarship concert at the Downey Theatre. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at the theater box office or by calling (562) 861-8211.
