DOWNEY - The monthly meeting of the Downey Newcomers Club will be held at Sizzler on May 20.The meeting starts at 11:30 a.m. and is followed by lunch at noon. The club is also hosting its annual fashion show June 17 at the Rio Hondo Event Center, featuring fashions by "Nena" and jewelry by Parklane.
