NORWALK - The 13th annual Breast Cancer Awareness Walk will get underway at 11 a.m. Thursday at Cerritos College, with proceeds benefiting local woman who cannot afford a mammogram. The walk is open to the public. A representative from the Susan G. Komen for the Cure will speak at the event.

There is no cost to participate but donations are encouraged. Checks should be made out to "Susan G. Komen for the Cure."

Registration begins at 10 a.m.
