DOWNEY - A Downey man is in custody and facing attempted murder charges after allegedly shooting his brother multiple times Wednesday for reasons that remain unclear.Police have not identified the suspect, who was arrested in an apartment on the 12400 block of Rose Avenue. Police responded at 6:54 a.m. to a shots fired call and found the victim laying in the front of the apartment complex with several gunshot wounds. The suspect was found inside the apartment and taken into custody without incident. Police found a gun inside the apartment. The victim was taken to a local hospital where he is listed in critical condition. Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to call Detective Steve Aubuchon at (562) 904-2361 or Sgt.
