WHITTIER – Rose Hills will host its fifth annual Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Day events this Sunday, March 22, starting at 2 p.m. The events will include a resource fair, clothing drive, barbecue and homeless veteran memorial service.

“It’s an honor to be a catalyst for bringing vital information and services from more than 40 businesses and nonprofits directly to our veterans, while collecting much needed clothing for those seeking employment,” said Bruce Lazenby, executive director of business development at Rose Hills. “We hope that members of the community will join us in supporting veterans at these events.”

The event includes a veterans resource fair and clothing drive from 2:30 to 5 p.m.; a barbecue and concert from 4:30 to 6 p.m.; and a memorial service for homeless veterans at 6 p.m.

Events are free to attend and open to the public (food and drinks are available for purchase).
