Dear Editor:The alleged mastermind of the 2000 bombing of the USS Destroyer Cole that killed 17 sailors and the alleged mastermind of the Sept. 11 attacks have not had a trial yet. It has been more than 10 years. How long does it take? Maybe our government is hoping that Mr. Abd Al Rahim Al Nashiri (USS Cole) and Mr. Khalid Shaikh Mohammed (9-11) will die of old age first. -- Mike Sandoval, Downey
