DOWNEY – Downey Toastmasters Club 587 is hosting an open house Tuesday, Feb. 17, from 6-7:30 p.m. in room 116 at First Baptist Church of Downey. Toastmasters offers communication and leadership skills to help with job interviews, business presentations, teaching, public speaking, and more.

Special guests at the open house include Jamal Thomas, who will speak on “How to Prepare for a Speech,” and two surprise guest speakers.
