DOWNEY – The annual Assistance League of Downey Christmas Tree Brunch will be held at the Rio Hondo Event Center this year on Sunday, Nov. 23. Festivities start at 10 a.m. and will feature holiday entertainment by the Meritage Carolers and opportunities to win decorated Christmas trees and unique baskets.

A silent auction will include prizes such as three tickets to see “Wicked” at the Pantages Theatre; two VIP seats to an L.A. Kings game at Staples Center; and a gondola getaway for 10.

Homemade baked goods and one-of-a-kind gift items will also be on sale.

The $50 admission includes a three-course lunch and door prizes.
