Dear Editor:Senior Pastor Garnett Simpson Grier of Breath of God Christian Fellowship Church and the Aggressive Community and Training Services Foundation hosted their 19th annual pre-Thanksgiving dinner on Nov. 21 and delivered food baskets to the Downey Unified high schools and middle school on Nov. 23. We would like to thank all of the Downey residents, including Miss Downey and her Court, for volunteering in support of this project. Pastor Grier would like to acknowledge the following businesses that supported the projects: Embassy Suites, Coca-Cola Bottling Company, BJ's Brewery, Pieloon, Mimi's Café, Hometown Buffet, Norm's, Olive Garden, Pina Pizza, Vons, Stater Bros., Ralph's and many others.
