DOWNEY - Space is still available for local school teachers who wish to take a free tour of the Columbia Memorial Space Center.Teachers can learn about the Space Center's interactive exhibits, programs, labs, field trips and tour Los Angeles' only Challenger Learning Center for simulated space missions. Admission is free and giveaways will be provided to all teachers with a current school ID. Open house dates are March 25 (4-8 p.m.), March 27 (1-5 p.m.), April 22 (4-8 p.m.) and April 24 (1-5 p.m.).
