CERRITOS -- The Handle With Care Packaging Store in Cerritos is collecting used cell phones to be donate to seniors and victims of domestic abuse."Seniors and victims of abuse really need a phone for emergency use," said Mark Hwang, owner of the store. "We'd not only like to help get them a phone, but help the community as well by promoting recycling, which will keep these phones out of landfills." Phones will be donated to the 911 Cell Phone Bank, which recycles and distributes more than 2,000 cell phones per month.
