DOWNEY - Children ages 6-14 are invited to spend their spring break at Wilderness Park in Downey.The city of Downey Community Services Department is offering the camp April 13-17. Children will participate in crafts, cooking and games. The camp will be managed by experienced camp staff. The fee is $80 and includes materials, supplies, a walking field trip to Rio San Gabriel Park, and a daily snack. Extended care from 7 to 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 to 6 p.m. is available for an additional $40. Registration will begin Monday at City Hall.
