Dear Editor:Simply put, thank you to Vince Diaz for his refreshing Spanish history lesson in last week's issue. ("Spanish History," Letters to the Editor, 2/21/13) I moved here a few years ago from a very conservative community where I would expect people to oppose the name Tierra Luna for a new shopping mall. However, now living in Los Angeles County, (yes, another Spanish name to reinforce the Spanish history lesson) I am surprised at such an opposition. Maybe such opinions should be voiced on much more important issues. Monica Ludi Downey
