DOWNEY – Songfest, an annual concert featuring soloists, small groups, and choruses from the local area, will take place this Saturday, March 21, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Downey. The church is located at 12414 Orizaba Ave., just north of Imperial Elementary.

An accompanying art exhibit opens at 4 p.m. Prelude music begins at 6:30 p.m., and the concert starts at 7.

Free parking and handicap facilities are available.
