Sean McGrew, son of Larry and Chris McGrew of Downey, graduated from the Los Angeles County Fire Academy on Dec. 19. Pictured are his immediate family, just six of the 22 friends and family who attended the commencement celebration. Sean was one of 44 recruits who successfully completed the six-month training program. He is beginning his career at a fire station in El Monte.
