DOWNEY - Teachers are invited to attend a free rocketry workshop Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon at the Columbia Memorial Space Center.The activities and lesson plans contained in NASA's Rocket Educator Guide emphasize hands-on science, prediction, data collection and interpretation, teamwork and problem solving. The workshop is free for K-12 teachers with a valid teacher I.D. Reservations are required by calling (562) 231-1200.
