Rigoberto Martinez Perez was born January 31, 1965 in Mexico then became a resident of California.

Moved to Downey Ca in 1995 where he raised his family with wife and 4 children .

Rigo later during the years completed a 12 step program to turn his life around and built a foundation of Christian fellowship, and character at The First Step House of Orange County, Inc in Costa Mesa Charle st. dedicating himself to the word of God and helping others who shared the same difficulties of life. He was blessed with the gift of overcoming his own struggles, to later being a sponsor and impacting others lives in a positive way mentally spiritually and physically in health. Giving them hope for a fresher brighter chance at life, he is a loving and caring individual who always put others before himself never expecting anything in return. His passion for reaching others and never giving up on them and always fighting on, and invoking strength, Faith along with the power of change. Everyone can remember him as being outgoing, hard working and the life of the party with a great sense of humor blessing us all with the medicine of laughter. Rigo was 1 out of 7 siblings and is survived by his Mother, four children, wife, brothers and sisters nieces, nephews and grandchildren. He is preceded in dead by his Father and one brother the memories we shared with Rigo will be forever cherished in our hearts. An unfortunate covid 19 turn of event on December 30, 2020 he was taken from us and became one of Heavens angels and granted a seat in the holy kingdom, where he will continue to do God’s work and watch over his loved ones.
