DOWNEY - Two new businesses will celebrate their grand openings with ribbon cuttings next week.The Point Insurance Services will host a ribbon cutting Tuesday at 4 p.m. The company offers home, auto, life, health and commercial insurance services. It also deals with employee benefits and worker's compensation. On Wednesday, also at 4 p.m., LPL Financial Services will host its own ribbon cutting. The company offers investment planning, asset management, estate planning, consultations and more. The Downey Chamber of Commerce is assisting with both events.
