DOWNEY – The local chapter of the National Assoc. of Active and Retired Federal Employees will have its monthly meeting Wednesday, Nov. 19, at the Barbara J. Riley Center. The meeting begins at noon and new members are welcome.

“This is Alzheimer’s Awareness Month so bring your checkbook for some kind of donation,” the group said.

Chapter officers will be elected for the coming year.
