DOWNEY - Police are searching for a 60-year-old Downey man with mental health issues who disappeared Saturday.Family members took David Lewis from his adult day care facility for a trip to Downey Landing at about 11 a.m., police said. At some point, Lewis became angry and walked away. He was last seen walking towards Lakewood Boulevard. Lewis suffers from several mental health issues and has attempted to commit suicide before, family members said. He requires daily medication. He is described as a white male, 6 ft. tall, 180 pounds, with gray hair and hazel eyes. Anyone with information on Lewis' whereabouts is urged to call the Downey Police Department at (562) 904-2308.
