PICO RIVERA — A man fatally shot in Pico Rivera was publicly identified Monday.

Juan Guerrero, 43, was a Santa Fe Springs resident, according to the coroner's office.

Deputies were called at 12:44 a.m. Jan. 4 to the 9500 block of Telegraph Road, where they found Guerrero lying in front of a business at a strip mall, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.
