Gangs Out of Downey, Downey Police Department, and community volunteers came together for a day of play at the Kids and Cops event on Saturday, March 5, at Golden Park.

“Kids and Cops is a vital event meant to bring the community together, specifically kids and cops,” said Gangs out of Downey President Hector Sosa. “It allows our youth to engage in several activities such as frisbee, football toss, and that’s alongside our Downey Police officers. It helps create a positive relationship between the community’s youth, and the officers who patrol the streets.”
