Patrick Nanson graduated from the Naval Officers School in Newport, R.I. on Sept. 11 and was commissioned ensign in the United States Navy. Nanson, who was one of five distinguished cadets to graduate, reported to the Navy base in Colorado on Sept. 21 where he is receiving special naval warfare training.
