DOWNEY - West Downey Little League is having its Opening Day carnival this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at West Middle School.This year's carnival will feature a 28-ft. tall rock climbing wall, 28-ft. tall inflatable slide and a giant obstacle course. There will also be a dunk tank, human foosball, a Velcro walk, booth games and raffle baskets. Carl's Jr. will be on-site selling food from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Baseball games are scheduled all day long. Proceeds from the event will be used to purchase equipment and upgrade the fields.
