BELLFLOWER – Bel Tooren Villa Convalescent Hospital, a skilled nursing and rehab facility in Bellflower, is welcoming a new executive director, Trent Weaver. Weaver most recently served as executive director at North Walk Villa Convalescent Hospital in Norwalk. Prior to that appointment, he was assistant executive director at Lake Forest Nursing Center in Lake Forest, California.

“My sister was an administrator, and she got me interested in long-term care,” Weaver said.

Weaver earned his bachelor’s degree in health care administration. He comes to the field from the United States Army, where he served for six and a half years, including tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. Currently in the reserves, he resides in Huntington Beach.

Bel Tooren Villa Convalescent Hospital, located at 16910 Woodruff Ave., is one of 10 skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities in California operated or managed by Life Care Centers of America.
