Lewis Elementary showed appreciation for the Downey Unified School District's nursing staff on May 20. Each year, the school hosts a luncheon for all district nurses, and this year's theme was the 1950's. "We all know that students can't learn if they aren't healthy," said instructor Carrie Kim.
