Dear Editor:The problem in Downey is that we do not have enough entertainment or activity options. Laser tag and a teen center would be a good investment for our city. Cities such as Long Beach have a variety of activities to do in their own town center, such as a movie theater, laser tag with arcade, places to eat, shopping, and places where we can just sit and talk with friends. The city of Bell has a sports center that provides a variety of sports fields. If Downey had sports fields, it would benefit many of the growing children in our already growing city. This may also help with more teenagers getting involved in sports rather than going out and breaking the law. - Edson Lopez, Downey
