DOWNEY - Marsha Moode, executive director of the Downey Civic Light Opera, will be the guest speaker at Wednesday's meeting of Citizens for Downey at the Rio Hondo Event Center.Moode is expected to speak about theater in Downey, and the Downey Civic Theatre, which some have said could be better utilized. An optional breakfast buffet will be available at 7 a.m. for a nominal fee. Moode will begin speaking at 7:15.
