CERRITOS - The 2011 Miss Cerritos Contest will take place March 22 from 5-7 p.m. at the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts.Sponsored by the Cerritos Regional Chamber of Commerce, the contest is not a pageant but a "professional development opportunity for young women." Contestants chosen for Miss Cerritos will represent the chamber as an ambassador throughout the year. To be eligible, women must be a high school graduate or equivalent, no older than 27, live, work or go to school in Cerritos, or work for a business that belongs to the Cerritos chamber.
