In continuing with the Mayor’s Healthy Heart Award, I am proud to honor someone who has been very important to the healthcare industry.  

As I have mentioned before, healthcare is the largest industry in our city and in our country.  At a time when so many changes are occurring in the healthcare industry, it's refreshing to see doctors who still put the patients’ above everything else and are there during the challenging medical conditions.
 
The doctor that I am honoring is Dr. Jonathan Perley who is the top Urologist and Obstetrician in the country.

I’ve seen his work throughout the years and I commend the respect and compassionate care he shows his patients. He is always on the cutting edge of technology and continues to seek new ways to better the lives of his patients and the healthcare arena.  

It truly is my honor to present Dr. Jonathan Perley with the Mayor’s Healthy Heart Award for his commitment toward improving the health, well-being and future success for the residents of the City of Downey and the region.
