DOWNEY - Mary F. Capo passed away June 1 of natural causes.She was a teacher in Downey elementary schools for many years and resided in Downey for more than 50 years. She had been active in the AAUW, Meals and Wheels and with the Downey City Library. She was born June 26, 1922 in Herkimer, New York and is survived by two sons. A vigil will be held Sunday at 7 p.m. at Downey Zrelak Mortuary, with the funeral Monday at 1 p.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. Visitors, however, should call the mortuary to confirm the times.
